The problem

Urban Greens, a London-based salad company approached us looking to scale their growth beyond organic channels, having never ventured into paid advertising before. While they had built a strong foundation through organic marketing, growth wasn’t happening fast enough to meet their business goals. They needed a strategy that would not only increase awareness of their stores but also drive in-store sales. Additionally, they had experimented with various sales platforms but needed a more streamlined and effective approach to maximize results.

The results

The goal

To implement a paid search strategy to drive foot traffic to the stores while also launching a full monthly email strategy to build a strong customer database for retention and foster a sense of community trust.

The solution

To drive store visits and increase awareness, we implemented a full Google Ads strategy across all store locations, utilising geo-targeting to reach potential customers searching for a healthy lunch option nearby. This approach ensured that those within the area could easily find directions to the nearest store, maximising foot traffic. Additionally, we optimised each store’s Google Business profile, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information to enhance visibility and improve the customer journey.

To strengthen retention, we set up automated email flows triggered by website sign-ups and in-store visits when customers are connected to WiFi.

Alongside these automations, we launched monthly sales and newsletter campaigns to keep customers engaged and returning. To further refine our targeting, we segmented customers by store and separated corporate clients using precise tagging within the email platform. This allowed us to tailor communications, ensuring that each customer received relevant offers and updates based on their location and purchasing behaviour.
