19/99 Beauty was focused on growing their online presence from the outset. They approached SOMO with the aim of accelerating their digital growth, and achieving global distribution both online and select in-store retailers.

The goal

Accelerate their digital growth, with a specific focus on improving conversion rates and scaling digital sales, and increase cart size. The long-term goal is to achieve global distribution, encompassing both online channels and select in-store retailers.

The solution

We initiated the project with a comprehensive website audit, implementing strategic changes to boost conversion rates.

Additionally, we devised an in-depth email marketing strategy, focusing on nurturing potential customers and facilitating conversions through carefully crafted browse abandonment and abandoned cart emails. We also introduced post-purchase and winback flows to enhance customer retention.

For customer acquisition, we leveraged precise audience targeting on Meta and were early adopters of Advantage+. We tested and optimised video and static ad creatives to achieve the highest return on advertising spend.

Simultaneously, we executed targeted campaigns to support the expansion into new global, select in-store retailers. To further amplify 19/99 Beauty’s digital presence, we deployed Google search ads and TikTok ads.
